Novo problema em rede da Embasa abre cratera e causa transtornos no circuito Barra/Ondina

Após o asfalto ceder e engolir um carro na Av. Garibaldi no primeiro dia do Carnaval de Salvador, um novo rompimento de adutora da Embasa abriu uma cratera e provocou transtornos no circuito Barra / Ondina na noite desta sexta-feira (17).

Por meio de nota, a Embasa informou ter iniciado a “a correção de um vazamento em uma linha distribuidora de água de médio porte” por volta das 7h deste sábado (18). Segundo a distribuidora, a previsão é que o serviço seja concluído até 14h, antes do início da movimentação para o Carnaval.

“O fechamento da rede para a realização do serviço vai afetar o abastecimento na avenida Milton Santos, em algumas ruas transversais, na avenida Anita Garibaldi e na Paciência”, alertou a Embasa.

O incidente ocorreu no final do circuito, na avenida Milton Santos, em Ondina, afetando inclusive a área de trabalho dos ambulantes. A Secretaria Municipal de Mobilidade (Semob) informou, no entanto, que o rompimento não causou problemas ao trânsito ou o sistema de transporte, por estar dentro do circuito.

Segundo a pasta, equipes da prefeitura foram acionadas e atuam para dar suporte à Embasa e resolver o problema “com a maior brevidade possível”. A Secretaria de Manutenção (Seman) dará apoio para asfaltar o local assim que a cratera for fechada.
