Caminhão de lixo atinge prédio no bairro de Amaralina, em Salvador; acidente deixou quatro feridos

Um caminhão da coleta de lixo atingiu um prédio no bairro de Amaralina, em Salvador, na manhã desta segunda-feira (9). O veículo também bateu em uma barraca de chaveiro que fica no local. Quatro pessoas ficaram feridas.

O acidente ocorreu por volta das 5h, na Avenida Amaralina. A suspeita é de que um dos pneus do caminhão tenha furado, o que fez o motorista perder controle da direção.

Dos quatro feridos, o motorista do caminhão e um dos trabalhadores que faz a coleta foram examinados pelo Samu e levados para um hospital particular, com ferimentos leves.

De acordo com o dono da barraca de chaveiro, identificado como João Paulo, ele trabalha no local há cerca 40 anos, estava em casa, dormindo, quando recebeu uma ligação informando sobre o acidente. O homem contou que o estabelecimento, que foi reformado há seis meses, ficou destruído, e ele não sabe como vai fazer para trabalhar.

“Segunda-feira triste pra mim. Tenho um filho pequeno, de um ano, e [esse] é meu sustento. Chegar aqui e deparar com essa situação é triste”, disse o homem, bastante emocionado. Ele estimou o prejuízo em cerca de R$ 120 mil.
